If only those few fans had been armed, they could have shot the debris away and avoided their bumps and scrapes. YOU TELL 'EM NRA!

Slightly better view showing Keselowski spinning into the crash, also him not just going full bore into the crash scene and locking it up at the last minute.

Alright here's a wild idea, let's invert the banking so its -31 degrees in the corner. Make all the cars have to deal with centrifugal force and take every corner at 20 mph without sailing off into the Geico tent selling Casey Mears diaphragms. Make it a real "handling" track.

Not sure if this has been shared already. I had not seen this angle until now.

But Austin is a cowboy and just giving a shout out to his fallen homie Lane Frost :(

I assumed he just thinks he's a humming bird. Whatever it is, it looks very homoerotic.

I had thought he was telling the crowd to tone down the cheering for some reason.

I assumed he'd had his bell rung and didn't know what he was doing... Imagine my disappointment to learn otherwise.

The only defense NASCAR/DIS needs: "A 1.5 ton car flew into a fence at 150+ mph right in front of your fucking face and you walked away."

If these fans ask for anything more than the few bucks it might have cost them to get bandaged up, they should feel free to go ahead and admit to society that their lives are worth nothing more than an an unearned check.

I'm sure the lawyer will come up with some B.S argument that the fans had traditional seats in areas that are temporarily closed for renovation and therefore were forced into harms way by nascar's construction project

Or that their personal character shields were lowered by NASCAR radio interference.
Or Nascar's constant deals with the devil meant Jesus couldn't save them
Or some other B.S.

Here is some actual content to hopefully provoke the necessary 60+ pages of discussion needed to make this thread as epic as is apparently needed.

(NASCAR are apparently a fan of Indycar's In Car Theatre eh.... ;)

And this next one is from the same "From the Stand" guy as the NW race, seems to do a good job at missing a lot of the wrecks but captures a couple of unseen things in pit lane....like fier!!!
Does get a shot of the last lap wreck too, would be hard to miss that tbf.

I guess the lawyer they hired is the same one that was used in Larson's accident at Daytona.

I half wonder if these fans suing NASCAR were actually approached by ambulance-chasing lawyers afterwards and enticed into it.

Nascar's argument will be that fans assume risk of injury when they buy a ticket, because it says it right there on the ticket. The lawyer's argument will be that the fans do not sign a document, so the contract is void. There's got to be some middle ground. I don't blame the fans for suing. I know if I was hit by debris at a Nascar race and it inconvenienced my life in any way, I'd sue like hell. There is such thing as pain and suffering. Of course the fans want to be compensated for medical bills, and they have every right to be. Depending on the injuries, this will be either settled out of court, or it will go before a judge and be dismissed. If Nascar is smart, they'll throw these people a couple bones and put an end to it. No one goes to any race expecting to have shrapnel thrown at them.
