I'm still waiting the news abot Suzuka being tarmaced. That will happen.

That's my biggest fear! Suzuka is one of the last real "old school" tracks in the calendar and also my favourite one amongst all tracks in the world. It would be painful if it was tarmaced everywhere like other tracks were.

I don't remember where the speed limit starts to count, but, there's a big chance of drivers using the runoff area to gain more time in the pit stops.

Yep. Wouldn't surprise me at all :slaphead:

As much as I'm the poster child for gravel traps over tarmac runoff, I never understood why a 20mph corner on the entry to the pits needed gravel there.

It wouldn't have changed much anyway, if there wasn't gravel there Lewis/Pastor etc would have made contact with the wall and it would've had the same end result to their races.

Surprisingly, I'm ok with this change.

So there was a practice session, Mercedes 1-2, 1 sec to Ferrari. McLaren a fair way off.

Nasr 5th, 1 second faster than Ericsson in 14th (slower than a McLaren!). Is Nasr surprisingly good or is Ericsson that bad?
