I read on Twitter that they misidentified the cause of the yellow on TV and that the real cause for the caution was that Kurt Busch had run out of gas.

I also read on Front Row Motorsports Twitter that the reason why Gilliland had a tire go flat was because Danica ran into his car while she was cleaning off her tires before the restart.

FOX missed a lot of things on TV it seemed.. with what you mentioned, as well as the Danica/Allgaier incident.

Yup. That sucked. If it was for Kurt running out of gas, then that's one thing... but I don't see how that's possible. They showed him coasting on the backstretch before going to commercials, and I'd be quite surprised if he didn't make it back to the pits.

I always thought Mears was a decent driver who is unfortunately remembered for being very average when given a chance with Hendrick. Not sure if he just blew a good chance, or whether he was in more of an R&D car. He was good at Ganassi and was screwed out of a couple of wins there (I can't remember which race it was, but he was miles ahead and there was a late caution for absolutely no reason). Hoping he can keep up the good runs this year.
