Pye will miss the next round after his shunt as well unfortunately.

Which was why it was never a great idea to schedule rounds in Tasmania and New Zealand in successive weeks, especially with no teams having spare cars. Thankfully it looks like LDM won't cop a huge fine for not fielding Pye's car next week.

Yeah it's not ideal and the series was going to back-to-back the Gold Coast and Abu Dhabi rounds within a week as well (of all tracks to back it up to, the Gold Coast???), but thankfully they canned the latter for other reasons.

Race 1 & 2 were the clipsal races, must have been 4 & 5 were the Tasmania races with 3 being an amalgamation of the 4 AGP events. Confused me too.

Race 3 was the Saturday 60/60 sprint (both Saturday races only counted as the 1 race)

Race 4 was the first Sunday race, Race 5 was the second Sunday race.

The AGP events aren't included in the Championship race count....

...Don't we love how simple V8Supercars makes this all for the fans....

When I heard they were going to be making track alterations to Pukekohe I feared the worse, but I think they've done a pretty good job

Also, Scott McLaughlin is keeps impressing every round!

Replace the Indy 500 with the Coca Cola 600 and that's exactly what I'm doing! Having said that, COTA's ticket service doesn't seem to like Australian credit cards, specifically mine, which is annoying... :x

Tell me about it...would not accept my Commonwealth Debt card..so I had to use my GO MasterCard that im paying my bed off from Harvey Norman. If it had of been Daytona or Dega I would have but Charlotte im not overly interested in....where are you sitting for the V8s?

Going GA, prefer to walk around and see it from a few different locations. You sitting up in a grandstand? And tbh, I've got more interest in NASCAR than Indycar, which is why I'm doing Charlotte instead of Indy.

You'll love Indy, the town really turns it on during race week.

Depending on where you are staying, you can go to the Indianapolis Showgrounds on the Friday night for the Hoosier 100, and then on the Saturday night at IRP they run the "Night Before the 500" event for USAC Silver Crown, Pro Mazda & Formula 2000

Do it

I went to the Centennial Indy 500 in 2011 and if the celebrations & fanfare from that race are anything to go by, the 100th running in 2016 will be one not to be missed.
