I wonder if they will manage to reach 230mph laps. Probably not, but would be cool if they did.

I read on trackforum that Honda is bringing a new engine spec for this race with more HP

IndyCar could just give them enough boost for Indy-like speeds. A 215 mph I think it's not very fast for a track like Fontana. After all, it's the FINALIE and they could just go all out on the engines.

Franchitti did a 216 in the test so I guess they wont be over 220.

There was an article a few days ago on speed (too lazy to search for it) about some sort of undertray that would make the car easier to handle, but drivers said it would bring pack racing back. Does anybody know anything more about that, or if the series decided to use it or not?

They will use Indy specs for Fontana. So they should go into 220mph+

I read both facts, but I don't know if the pack the'll use now contains that mentioned undertray part either.

I think they're running the Texas package. Or something very similar.
