Long run data suggests that RoGro is the man this weekend. He's about 0.3s/lap faster than Kimi; Red Bull, Alonso on a similar pace. Hamilton didn't do a comparative long run, Jenson's pace sucks completely. Pastor quick, Bruno slow. Heikki faster than both STRs.

Of course it's only Friday and conditions will change, fuel loads unknown, but Grosjean is looking good.

HRT looks like a bloody cross channel ferry :p

Where did you get that information Phil :)?

Had a look at the long runs on the FIA website. It simply says the times on each lap and I gather that those around the 1.45s are race pace.

Pedro that is what I am like when I play video games. Go WAY WAY to fast in and crash into the wall.

Looks to me like he simply mixed that part of the track with the quicker section later on. Would be crazy on this level, but who knows

Imo he lost his track of where he was on track because it seems he shifted up to 4th gear (when that corner is a 3rd gear corner) and took it too fast.

Choose which you like ;). I remember 2 weeks ago someone send HDTV Player 0.38 to watch F1. I use that one now too but you have to download it. It works fantastic, much better then the streams.

Looks nice from the heli shots. I just wish they'd cut out the bit between T2 & 5 and make the corner exiting the swing bridge more natural.

Vergne has locking rear brakes and high speed mid-corner understeer.

Di Resta lost time with a lock up.

Are there even any spectators at the track? The camera shots make it look as if there's not a soul in sight :tumble:

Don't know, they're not using supersofts :p

Tyre wear doesn't look too high.

Hopefully the hot weather predicted makes the tyres and brakes wear more than usual.

If they can do 20 laps on the S-Softs this race can be written off.

Marussia car looks horrific. HRT faster, which is surprising.

Indeed, I feel sorry for Timo, see him struggling like that!
