What a shame. Had he made it through there that was an easy top 10, top 5 maybe

Gotta be a good day when you run at the font of the field in DEGA, get involved in a big one and still post a top 20

Hopefully that'll show the team what Robby (and the goddamn broadcast crew, do you have to filter prize money back at the TV crew before they film/mention you or something? ) can do for the rest of this season and beyond.

Also NASCAR's white flag/yellow/GWC rules as consistant as ever. Yellow on the last lap with half a lap to go? Overtime?
Nah, fuck it, lets go home.

That rule has been unchanged since at least the start of the 2017 season. There's no longer and overtime line. If the yellow comes after the white flag, the race is over no matter what.

That being said, it was pointless to throw the yellow at that moment. It made no difference to the drivers in/dodging the wreck. Might as well have let the leaders run back.

Nascar just needs to adopt ARCA's green flag finish rule. Do another restart and get it right, even if it takes 127 attempts

Well yeah, I guess I mean what consists of worthy throwing a yellow on the last lap and what hasn't
We've seen bigger (and smaller tbf) wrecks stay green yet this one got yellowed

Looking back on it, I think Robby took a harder crash to the outside wall in than you realised, because of course his car repels cameras for some reason
Hope he's ok.

Man Zippy almost made it through that wreck on the last lap. Almost had it cleared and got clipped on the right rear. I was hoping he would find a way to get out from behind the #51 when he had that tire rub late in the race. I didn't want him to behind him in case that tire blew.

I was gonna say we're probably overdue for a clean plate race, but I think those are basically extinct now.

We'll never see a caution free race again. At least not while they have the idiotic stage racing.

Either it'll be like last year or we'll get a race like the one in 2015 where nothing happens until Harvick brake checks the field coming to the restart at the very very end.

Zippy did a good job not wrecking or getting wrecked until the last lap clusterfuck. I hope he gets another shot in more races this year and maybe gets to do Daytona.

The way modern NASCAR drivers are, no way we get clean plate races again. Ever.

I could have sworn when the caution came out he was 6th or 7th (sideways, mind you), guess it was a special caution where they only used it to check the leader and pulled the rest out of a hat.

How long before the leader starts blocking like a twat
And how long before a wreck happens as a result

Depends. Where's McMurray and Stenhouse starting?

Would put good odds on someone derping it up coming to the end of a stage, or green flag pit stops. I bet it happens at least once.
