Thank Cthulu for those Shelby Mustangs or the Conti Tire Series was just going to be a Porsche Cup with a handful of touring cars tacked on this year. Real shame there wont be any Camaros, Astons, Nissans etc this year.

As someone who dips in and out of this series. Is there any particular reason for no Aston's, Camaros etc etc

The Aston teams have all drifted away over time, Nissan pulled out (guess the 370z just isn't selling) and on the Camaro front Stevenson have stepped up to IMSA with Audis and Mantella have gone to the world challenge with KTMs. Even the team that used to run the Subaru has switched to a Mustang. GS has been losing numbers in spits and spots over the last few years but it looks like a big chunk of them have bailed this year.

Fall-Line didn't want to build a new generation M3 because it'd be stupidly expensive. Like, way more than a GT3 car expensive.

Interestingly, I can't seem to find mention of a live stream anywhere this year.

FansChoice showing qualifying & CTSC will be streamed, good chance of it being the same unless they don't want to pay anyone to do the night shift

For a series wanting to expand it's media footprint, they're sure going about it the right way...

CTSC race is on the 29th, usually around 1:45PM ET for start time I believe, I think Qual is on the 28th. I will get a thread up for the 24 soon if my power doesn't go out from this weather I am getting. It will be on FansChoice.TV or IMSA.tv

Only 37 cars entered in Continental Tire Challenge. Really sad for a series that used to bring close to 80. Atleast the ST battle should still be ok.
