Incredible track imo

It's a flat out friggin' sweet ass track! Fast, challenging, flows like a river. What more can you ask for? Going to have to set up the DVR but this is definitely one of the races I look forward to all year.

BTW the racetrack is Road Atlanta for those who didn't knew.

This track definately belongs to the canditates for the best track in the world.

was going to go but with gas situation had second thoughts. might go to cup race at ams. Also rooting for Peugeot and more coverage than before its gonna be a good weekend.

will the whole race be live on motors? their website just shows a couple of hours and then nothing.

According to that, Peugeot did in the test days: 1:05.6 ('07 pole 1:08.906).

On LMS tracks Pug destroyed their own records from their cruising last season only by 1.5-2 secs (expect Monza) and they're longer and much faster tracks...

I think it's no question that the Peugeot will be on the pole. The question is will the car stay in one piece throughout the full 1000 miles?

For what it's worth, that 1:05.6 gives Road Atlanta, even with many more slow corners (3, 5, 7, 10a/10b) the same average speed as Mosport... Approximately 139mph.

I might not be surprised to see possibly a 1:05 flat come qualifying...

Should be a wonderful race that i have to miss due to work... I hope you guys can post highlights... Please!!!!

You know, I totally forgot about RU. I certainly hope someone caps the whole race. I'll be taping all that I can tape on Saturday but SPEED isn't carrying the whole race. This would be a good one to save. Just hope for a good fight between the Audi's and the Peugeot on Saturday!
