Strange, Rick Ware racing wasn't shown on the starting grid graphic so I thought they were DNS/DNQ but Cody's out there in the #52 |

Hypercar+DPI convergence is happening.  DPI 2.0 planned for 2022 will become LMDh and it and hypercar will race alongside. http://www.dailysportscar.com/2020/01/2 ... gence.html Quote: The LMDh formula, which stands for Le Mans Daytona (and awaits confirmation of how the ‘h’ will be defined), is scheduled for a staggered rollout. LMDh will debut in September of 2021 alongside Hypercars in Europe, and in IMSA, LMDh will replace the current DPi formula in January of 2022 at the onset of the new WeatherTech Championship season.

My concern is that if LMDh is cheaper and you can race everywhere yet still challenge for outright wins, then why would you bother with the Hypercar class? |

Also it appears that hypercar might not able to race in IMSA, and the convergence is only about the LMDh. |
