The current car didn't originally have the current very screamy sound either until they changed the exhaust configuration mid-season.

It does sound a bit like the Ford GT but it is probably not a turbo. No spooling or whistling.

I still believe its n/a deggis.
Looks also more a chassis update with a few engine tweaks.

The high pitch sound was something else i mean, when i witnessed those porsches live your ears bleed out so high pitched & loud those porsche where/are.
On the other hand the Ford gt's have that grunt sound which vibrate your body if they pass by on high speed.
So both sounds has their pro and cons.
May be porsche changes their exhaust again like they did in mid 2017 well see.

Those liveries look great i hope they make a 1/18 of it.
Shame that ford stop but i understand their reason.
They have been saddled with so many rules designed to impede the car's performance, that there is no chance to win anymore.
How can any manufacturer justify the expense, when your cars are running at the back of the pack?

No. They're not at back of the grid and all teams complain about BoP (balance of performance). The production of the road cars is ceasing soon. The racing program was always going to be limited and it was already extended once.

In Ford's case the whining about BoP is a bit ironic since in the beginning they did not meet the required road car production numbers, so in inpricple the car could have been declared illegal (of course ACO/FIA was never really going to do that).

Following the ACO’s decision to introduce hypercars to the top category of the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), Aston Martin is pleased to announce that it will field at least two works Aston Martin Valkyrie cars, specially developed to compete in the 2020/21 FIA WEC season - including the 2021 24 Heures du Mans.

The highlights of the technical details include a revised weight, lowered slightly to 1100kg and a changed power output of 750bhp in order for the LMP1 replacement category to reach 3m30s laps in race trim at Le Mans.

No complaints about this as it will enshrine KK as the king of speed at Le Mans. No-one will ever go faster.

I think it is the original concept car, but now a real one and moving.

Toyota intends to use the prototype sub-ruleset of the rules which means it doesn't have to have anything to do with that GR Sport technically - if they even intend to produce it. Aston Martin meanwhile intends to use the producion car sub-ruleset so they are subject to diferent requirements.

These renders were released on Friday. Yes, looks very similar but underneath it might be more TS050 than GR Sport.

Bit of a farce 'start'. They called it off really late and the drivers had gone for it.
