During the broadcast they showed highlights of races from last year, like Montreal and the July Daytona, where Dorsey was doing commentary, maybe thats what you're thinking of. He was never there for any of the race though, it's too bad because he was always entertaining to listen to and very enthusiastic about what was going on.

The #58 was 12 lbs underweight and was just fined with $5000. Seeing the small difference all the little bits could have helped, they should have at least a higher fine our in the worst case a time penalty (But it is NASCAR sanctioned so they won't take a win away that easy).

Too bad the race finished under caution it was very close at the front I think the Mustangs could have got by the BMW although Bill Auberlen drove a great race to win.

he is doing a year in Europe picking on various series to play in.. he was sharing a car with George Richardson and they may well look at doing the Oulton Park Funcup race in October as thats the nearest track to Georges home town.
