Was in T1 when the red came out. Saw 1 flash of lightning in the distance. Back at our base in T8. It is sunny here.

Yup, lightning. Stands cleared, marshals and camera operators to cover.

And my prediction about waiting far too long until it's pretty much completely dry again comes true.

FFS could've gone green 2 laps or more ago.

Heat made it dry quicker while they were sorting through the pitting

This race has just been a massive clusterfuck with hardly anyone knowing what is going on

Having Hindy and Shaw bicker about theories that both prove to be wrong when they get the pit reporter to ask the team involved doesn't help either.
