Should be fun!

Maybe they can finally replicate that back flip someone managed on the daytona banking during the 24 hours a few years ago. And get it on camera this time

I don't remember hearing anything about this.

It's tape delayed again, by 1 hour, the race starts at 7pm.

No, it's live - Kansas is Central time (1 hour behind Eastern).

I think it was 2004/2005....

Cameras COMPLETELY missed it though, it had already landed and was bouncing around completely wrecked when the camera on the front straight picked it up.
If it wasn't for the commentators seeing it out the window and the driver interview you wouldn't know it flipped.....

I can't be the only one to remember this? :?

I remember it, didn't it happen in semi or complete darkness so there was lots of dust obscuring what was actually happening anyway?

Blood has been spilled in the CTSCC pitlane...

Quote:
I am working in the pit stall next to Racers Edge. During the last practice today Billy Johnson came running into the Racers Edge pits and decked one of their drivers that just got out of the car bloodying his face pretty good. There was some pushing and shoving after that before they were seperated. Don't know the reason, but I am assuming he was not happy about something that happened on the track.

The question is...Will anyone in America actually get too see the race? FS2 is in less than 1/3rd of the homes that FS1 is. Its on a higher tier package that most do not have. I dont have FS2.

And most of those who do get it (like me) only get it in low-def. It's a slightly grim situation all round and definitely a last minute fudge of an idea by the bigwigs when they realized they couldn't fit everything on the much lauded FS1.

So there will be a stream right? I'm struggling to find one.

Continental Tire race live on Speed2 in about 10 minutes...I expect that race to be crazy.

I can't find anything. My cable provider doesn't let me have speed2

Post subject:  Re: Grand-Am Random Discussion

I've never seen a stream for SPEED2 anywhere. It's one of those weird "Input your cable company username and password here to see if you can get us" websites.

Watching it just now, first impressions of the track aren't all that favourable, but then I've never really been a fan of these oval tracks with a couple of chicanes plugged into them. Thus far it's just lots of drafting around and tons of daft accidents at the tight hairpin with all the different braking points.

The track itself is utterly featureless. I could be looking at the Homestead Roval if I didn't know any better.

Just took 25 minutes to clear a broken down car... Nothing exciting to report in the way of racing yet.

Immediately followed by what will be another huge caution for two broken down BMWs. I'm giving up on this and will watch the last hour on the highlights show when they put that on-demand later tonight. Maybe the recorded NASCAR race at Mid-Ohio will be more entertaining. :p

I hope the faster Rolex Series cars will make better use of this track but I'm not sure - the track's really not that good.
