Looks much nicer in red and in the more polished bits and from the front really aggressive actually.

And here's the actual Superbowl ad, I was half-right or half-wrong, motorsport is kind of the theme but the P1 shows up for brief seconds and interestingly no direct reference to LM anywhere (intentional? "oh, so this is the superbowl car?").

ps. Besides the DPs, spot MOMO liveried GTP Nissan :p

Very narrow rear tyres on that car. It will be funny to see it much slower than everybody else in WEC(bar Le Mans).

Overall, I'm liking all Nissan is doing. A beautiful and totally different car. Can't wait for 6h of Silverstone!

Did I see the new Nissan going down the main straight as opposed to going up to the first corner at COTA?

Yes, it's designed to kinda look like Le Mans.

There was a comment by Bowlby that for now it is all about LM config. But even after they develop it more clearly this is never going to have the highest downforce figures. What are they going to do rest of the season, race with Rebellion? Competition is also pretty good way of seeing where you're going, so they're not going to have much of that and we aren't going to see much of 4-way battle. So, that would be disappointing in a sense and I guess is also a statement about non-LM WEC.

I love it. It's stupid, ugly and will either dominate or fail massively. But it proves the regulations are still open enough to allow this stuff.

Thousands of people are waiting for that :D

Kind of easy to do that since there is very little other teams can copy right now.

Tasty... Very, very tasty.

One of my favorite races of the year just got a little bit better.

That seems a bit disappointing for current ELMS entries. Only 6 in GTC, 9 in GTE, 7 in LMPC, but a nice 12 in LMP2.

I'm pretty impressed with the ELMS entrants. That's 7 LMP3's (not C, new class) starting from zero.

WEC

11 LMP1 + 10 LMP2 + 7 LMGTE Pro + 7 LMGTE Am = 35

I'd say 34 considering Kolles is in there + both Rebellions will only arrive in Spa.

Me too, way better than last year. Also there wasn't much talk about LMP3 lately, but I really hope it succeeds and can become a more interesting substitute for PC classes in TUSC and ELMS. The only thing I don't like is the spec-engine, but oh well.

As for GT, I've stressed countless times how ACO,SRO and IMSA should come to an agreement to develope a single class if they don't want to have a 6-8 car field for works entrants.

So Riley-Viper submitted an entry for Le Mans, but they were only granted a reserve spot. I hope that doesn't kill their effort.

Riley Viper first on the list of reserves for Le Mans.

Please, one of those random amateur Ferrari's: sod off!

It's pretty ironic that Jota Sports was considered a sort of Audi farm team and in fact ended up supplying 2 drivers for the works Nissan team.

Happy for Matsuda and Tincknell, but I hope Quintarelli gets a seat as well.
