Is that the same Mazda whose engine has been struggling lately? Anyway the fin doesn't fit in with the livery.

They changed the engine, it's been running much better this year.

They ditched the diesel and went back to the old AER Mazda I4 engine.

Wayne Taylor Racing has listed their current Corvette DP program for sale, as with the 2017 regulation changes making the cars not usable for IMSA competition.

The 1991 must be one of the best bang-for-buck wins in motorsport. Decades later they can still milk it and anywhere on the internet where there is talk about the car there is someone spreading the conspiracy bullshit myth about the car getting banned, so Mazda doesn't even have to do anything themselves.

At minimum, WEC doubled header is off then, if WEC returns at all.

Pirelli World Challenge now has the September date slot at CoTA as well.

I could see it paired with WEC, but it seems unlikely with the recent rumors

Which is funny, because there's no BOP issue with the Porsche. 5 poles this year out of 8 have been set by a Porsche in GTD, and the first and fourth fastest cars during the race at Road America were set by a 911. AJR's other car, the 23, has no issues with being at the front of the field. The two WeatherTech cars that were entered at Road America(22, and 77) have nothing to blame but their slow Am's(both of the MacNiels) for their lack of pace.
