Recurrence of what they had before it seems. Not going to be the same as Elkhart Lake though.

Very real chance of an LMP2 or LMPC car winning this race now.

Still got Chris Dyson in a P1 on the lead lap. But if anyone tries to pass him he'll just turn in and get them penalised.

At this point he's holding up LMP2 cars, and the #06 LMPC car is ahead of him and running a second faster per lap. #95 LMP2 leads overall.

Prototype holding up GT cars again - is there something about this track where more horsepower isn't better or are the prototype drivers just shit?

Some of them are just shite. It's stop, start and they're not as brave in the corners.

They're trying to tape the Dyson Lola back together, that might be one of the most desparate things I've seen in racing

That didn't really need a yellow, the car's stopped by a gap in the fence

They are not LMP's.

They are not eligible at Le Mans.

Sure, you can say the same about Super GT, that championship is super healthy.

As will Grand Am be once the merge happens.

There will be nothing wrong with DP's once the turbos come in. GT is growing at a frantic pace, with Ferrari and Audi coming in recently. Nissan has expressed interest as well. With Turbos you could get Honda back in DP. This could be the catalyst to an IMSA GT-esque sportscar championship again. Which is massively better than what we have. And that's not even best case scenario.

He was just trying to keep out of the way, unfortunately he went too slow and the issue they've been having all weekend kicked in. That sucks.

If this caution takes as long then this'll finish under yellow

How long does it take to move a car?

And people were saying the Americans were better at safety cars in the GP2 thread
