Bit off topic, but has anyone any experience about running dailymotion livestreams on Samsung TV via dailymotion app? Is that even possible?

Clicked over from the BTCC, first thing I saw was a car bunnyhopping off the wall :o

Still, aside from Wurz's pass that's about the most exciting thing that has happened all day.

There have been about as much incidents as a mid-level excitement F1 race spread out over 6 hours....
Hmmmm

Yeaa it's supposed to be endurance not sprinting.

It's not Le Mans either.

I quite liked the race. Leaders very close in the same lap, at least before the retarded 2 safety cars rule struck.

Why does Silverstone have two? That really is retarded.

Probably because they have two pitlanes...because they can...

They were bad enough at picking up the right cars with ONE Safety Car so I've no idea why they thought they'd do a better job with two...

There are no rules about picking cars up in ACO rules, however. They release the safety cars at their discretion and it picks up whomever it picks up.

In any case it's really hosed the Toyota. Having been about 20 seconds back they could have clawed that gap back on time, but 50 seconds is way too much - especially if the Audi can save itself one additional stop.

That said, the gap has come down to 42 seconds from 48 seconds... Still a long way to go in an hour with two stops still to go.

So, as it stands, the only bit the Toyota lacks, is fuel consumption. Very promising indeed.

It is a significant deficit, though - up around 20-25km per fuel tank.

TV director doing a tremendous job of not showing the on-track action.

As I type that out, two GTs clash within sight of the flag!

Toyotas's best lap of the race is half second faster than the Audis. If they can have the same amount of pits in other tracks, they might win it.

edit: well, maybe they won't win anything as for sure Audi will have that extra winglet on it's rear, by Interlagos. It's really unbelievable that ACO/FIA allowed it
