I am too old and lame to stay awake for 24 hours. Should try and get a Skype chat or something going, though.

Sunday has BTCC and F1, (and a delayed Motors TV race day after that :8: ) as much as I love Le Mans I don't want to sacrifice all that is more to my taste.

Plus after midnight there's not much point, they said there'd still be external footage last year but it was just bare bones minimal cameras with operators, it was still 90% pit lane shots.

The best part of Le Mans is the 5am/6am sunrise time, it might be better to be more adult about it and have a nice early night when it gets dark, setting my alarm for sunrise instead.

Maybe on skype or whatever instead of all of us sitting about trying to last 24 hours (and failing) then maybe we should just take it in shifts, there's enough of us in each time zone to probably work that out. Keep each other updated on the race when real life (sleep) gets in the way, etc :?

I am watching the 2015 race now. Currently at 3AM and they still show onboards and external camera's which are being operated. Almost zero pitlane coverage. So definitely not true. This year might be a tricky one with wet weather. It is gonna be interesting one so make sure you tune in. I am leaving tomorrow for Le Mans, packing loads of warm clothes. My pick is Audi for the win.

Yes there were much more cameras on during the night, but I think it was still pretty dreadful coverage.

The real stretch for me are the last 10 hours or so. Gonna try it this time, but the race finishes at 9 am and normally the last hours don't have much happening to keep me awake. Also, streams with crappy quality and having to stay in front of the PC is not my thing. I rather download the race and see it on my tablet on bed.
Also I don't like to watch this with half-attention, I like to see it slowly but paying 100% attention most of the time. But this time I'll probably just stick around to follow it live and with the whole TBK forum, that sure adds some fun to it. Gonna stay around for the start minus F1 qual or so, then hang around for a good time into the night. But it's my birthday so I'll probably will go out karting or to a paintball. But the sun shines on the race around mid-night here, so I'll probably be back for a good skype chat. :D

I'll watch a decent chunk of it, will catch the start and the finish for sure. This year has alot more hours on FS1/FS2 now with FOX's SportsCenter copy being cut back & MotoGP moving to a new network.

Thinking about not doing the all-nighter this year. This is a weekend where I get my son, so I'll get to show him Le Mans for the first time, maybe we'll watch it together in the future.

is that on app/members feed or on TV? I can't get my members access on. Is it even video streaming practice?
