Found who the other driver was.

Almost a second clear on his first real-life day at the circuit. If that's not a statement of intent, I don't know what is :metal:

Silly to go that fast today. Only makes it more likely that the lolliBoP will be stuck up Toyota's arse before qualifying.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I'm not even sure a win is necessary. If he gets to run at the front again and actually feel in contention, then he's done in F1.

That's the issue when rooting for him... Same thing with Indy last year. If he wins, that probably reduces the chances of doing it again.

They'll still be significantly faster. ACO doesn't want privateer P1s to even be able to challenge the sole hybrid.

The fun of the race will be in the if Toyota will make the 24 hours (which they'll probably do, considering they won't have to go full pace the entire race), and the competition in the P2 and both GT classes.

True, but why take the chance? Every advantage is worth it as it allows further preservation of the equipment.

Toyota should have won the race at a canter last year after Porsche's issues, and yet...

Toyota does not even need to be faster. It was agreed and the BoP is set in a way that they'll get 1-lap stint advantage.

I doubt that, unless Renault becomes an engine supplier for Indycar or Alonso switches to a Honda-powered F1-Team :flag:

Chevy based team. No way he would touch anything Honda powered. Rumors have it that McLaren have quietly hired back their Indycar advisors. Take that for what it's worth.

So, it's that time of year: what streaming options to choose? I've used to the WEC app the last few years, but it is more expensive than Eurosport Player. It does however have the onboards (which ES P doesn't have?), but ES P has the natural sounds option IIRC. That makes ES P more compatible with Radio Le Mans in a better way than the WEC app. But ES P has some bad reviews on its Chromecast feature, and no Chromecast is a deal-breaker for me.

It's a mess.

What do people recommend?

Allegedly motortrend.com will carry live practice and qualifying along with the entire 24 hours on their site for those in the States. However, their schedule does not show this. Velocity is slated to cover it on TV but their schedule is not available either at this moment.
