I'd love to see them at Mosport, but I cannot believe they could run safely there.. As for Toronto out, hell no!

Isn't Toronto a well attended race? Why scrap that one?

Which wouldn't be an issue if the series didn't bend over backwards to accomadate Eddie Fucking Gossage

Fuck him, race at Toronto on that weekend and tell Texas to suck it up and accept the date they're given.

Texas must pay a fortune for the sanction fee. There's no reason with the abismal attendance to keep Texas otherwise. Actually, the only other reason I can think of would be because it's an oval, but there are other options out there.

Could move Milwaukee back to it's traditional date and fill the Texas void with Road America. That would give 3 500 mile ovals along with Milwaukee and Iowa. Maybe head back to Michigan? There just aren't that many ovals that are suitable for Indycars.

IIRC Montreal has but 2 dates a year it's allowed to close off the perimeter roads for racing, It used to be F1 and Champcar, then F1 and NASCAR

I would assume it hasn't been mentioned because although NW haven't run there this year, there may still be an option NASCAR has over the 2nd date, a kind of "first refusal" deal in case they want it back? :?

I don't know how set in stone the dates of the first five races are but three weeks between each of the first five races is not going to be good for Indycar. Between Dubai and Brazil, I can understand. But the rest?

Then beginning with the Indy 500 we have 4 races in less than two weeks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_IndyC ... n#Schedule

I guess we will know more this weekend.

Ugh... Wish the Indycars would either go back to Watkins Glen, or go to VIR or Limerock (once they expand the paddock.)
