Track was repaved since last year’s race. Wonder if they’re fast enough to get near the lap record.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how much the drivers were having to fight the cars and slide around even with all of the extra grip from the repave. Also, it seemed like you could really hear the tire squeal in some of the braking zones and corners, which I've never really noticed before.

They should AT THE VERY LEAST, hold Dixon for the first 2-3 laps of the race. That was so dangerous and costly, for no good reason. Can’t allow anyone, even someone as accomplished and typically classy as Scott, get off lightly for that sort of screwup.
