I'm really surprised, I always thought NASCAR was his eventual goal

I think it is as well, personally I could see him doing both series or being a "ace" driver for special one offs in various series at some point. Also, he's a good ace in the pocket for Roger when the next-gen cars come out for NASCAR -as they are going to be similar to the V8 Supercars in chassis / body design areas

It would be incredible to see Scotty run during some off weeks on the road courses. Following weeks doesn't have clashes with V8's: Long Beach, Indy (Road Course), Detroit, Road America, Toronto, Mid-Ohio, Gateway & Portland

While this is more on the NASCAR side of things, Penske will have a major announcement tomorrow at IMS. Tony Donohue hearing rumors that it could be about IMS adding lights & a endurance sports car race (note: SRO already added a 8 hour enduro this year for GT3 cars), others thinking it will be a Xfinity race on the road course.

Roger announced it this morning with NASCAR reps, some drivers & Scott Borchetta (sponsor of the Brickyard)

Pennzoil also named the title sponsor of the road race.

Ferrucci raced the Chili Bowl tonight - ended 1 spot out of the transfer in the C main

Makes the rumors of him going to Andretti for Indy even stronger

She has also posted a follow-up Tweet stating that the driver being announced is being announced for the full season, so it seems that there's only one shared car at Foyt after all.

likely to be Charlie Kimball if rumors hold true

then TK and either Seabass or Kellett alongside

could also be Sergio Sette Camara if he doesn't return to F2

It's Wednesday, which means another Mailbag;

-Miller believes that Hinch's options are RLLR and Ganassi. He also says that whatever deal is done will include at least Toronto on top of Indy.
-Kimball is likely to be confirmed in the #4 today, with Seabass (first 4 races), TK (ovals) and DK (everything else) sharing the #14.
-Miller does not believe there will be any lighting of IMS any time soon as it would cost $20 million.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I hope Foyt actually have a decent package this year. It's hard to tell whether TK is well past his best, or whether the car has been terrible. I still think he can get the job done on the ovals with a strong car. Hopefully he'll retire with a few good results and not be one of those drivers that continued on for too long.

I bet he does an Al Unser in 2021.

Starting the month without a ride, replace a driver and win the 500 in a backup.

Jenna Fryer interviewed Roger today at Daytona. Nothing on the series itself but more-so on sporty car efforts & IMS

meanwhile on the series front. One of Roger's first motives has begun
