Only bit of bumpf from the Mailbag is that Juncos is working on a programme for 2020, as is DragonSpeed.

Ed Jones was announced as a DTM driver earlier today, which rules him out of any of the remaining drives.

Hampson will also engineer SPAM's 3rd car at the 500, presumably in an attempt to butter up their first choice for that seat.

Mailbag didn't have much except an affirmation of things already written - Foyt is leaning towards Kimball + a TK\DK ride share, Palou is still in the frame at DCR, and Bourdais looks like he will race sportscars only, at least for this season.

I remember Palou losing out to the legends of Sandy Stuvik & Artur Janosz in 2014 EuroFormula Open season.

The guy is poor man's Daniel Juncadella. He will bomb out in IndyCar big time IMO :roll:

Santino will out-perform him, as much of a shithead he is.

Interesting, as every obvious open seat left belongs to a Chevrolet team (Foyt, although their lineup appears to be pencilled in, and Carlin). The same reply also contains a reminder that Robin wrote that Hinch would not be driving for Coyne, so presumably a last-minute gazumping of Ferrucci is not on the cards. The only Honda team that might have capacity is RLLR, or maybe a handful of races (Indy GP, 500, Toronto) in a 6th Andretti car.

James Davison will be racing a ton in 2020 - and doing it the old school way much like the drivers of the past (such as AJ and Mario)
