Alonso ran wide out of three, bounced off the outside wall. He then spun to the inside wall and smacked that, ping-ponging him back to the outside wall in turn four. He's OK, the car is being towed.

Alonso washed up just a bit following Rahal, hit the outside wall, which broke the suspension. He slid down, hit the inside wall then back across the track and back into the outside wall. He hopped out right away but it will be a big repair for them. If i knew how to do a screenshot i'd post one lol

Nice to see the car stay on the ground even when it hit some big bumps in the grass with the floor of the car.

Classic "Speedway baptism" for Alonso. Lose the front grip, scrape the outside wall, slam the inside wall and again outside wall in the next turn.

This is May!

That boy doesn't wad them up small does he. Yeesh. Flaps came up and the car stayed on the ground as NVirkkula said.

McLaren is trying to get 66T out today and repair the primary 66 too.

The spare car is built by Carlin while primary car is build/assembled in England by McLaren themselves, so the difference might be rather big.

Makes Nando's 2nd attempt on the Triple Crown a bit more challenging perhaps.

I wasn´t even considering Nando as a challenger for the win this year.

McLaren isn't a force in IndyCar (yet). Neither is Carlin.

Let's see next year, if they show up stronger, with a year on their belts.

That's getting after it. Now... Turn those engines loose and let's see what they can really do.

Looking over the laps so far, Ben Hanley's best lap is 220.532. Dragonspeed have a lot of work ahead of them

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
