Hard to see what sent the first car across the track like that. Lost it under braking or had help.

People are just driving anywhere that is paved, including both running wide outside of corners by a mile AND cutting inside the curbs on the inside. This is stupid. I really, really hate paved runoff areas.

It really is ridiculous isn't it?

Once upon a time going wide was punished, now you don't have to be brave since you have nothing to worry about. What separated good drivers from lesser drivers is gone here.

And that is why I've never been able to enjoy this circuit (and most modern tracks). I don't understand why it's so popular. The layout is fairly decent but there's tarmac to use on every single corner.

Me neither. I've seen so many drivers complaining on Twitter about car park runoffs and track limits.

There are corners that could be challenging but like with the amazing T8 at Istanbul, the runoff just kills any sense of being on the edge.
