Probably the first guy to win a big race whose year of birth does not begin with 1.

Easily better than any of the F1 races that have been run here.

Another example that the tracks aren't the issue in Formula 1.

about what I expected after the final restart. Pretty decent race though, and great by CoTA standards

still think the track layout needs to be modified though, stadium section needs to be put on the next SpaceX mission & need another straight / longer braking distance area to allow some more sends.

Good God.

----------

There was apparently a bottle of non-alcoholic cider available for today's winner.

Yes, there was. I guess after the tests at CoTA, the series knew it was a real possibility to have a <21 winner.

Meanwhile, in the rest of the world where adults are treated as such, nobody gives a shit.

Congrats to Colton. He drove very well today.

Surprised they didn't have a shotgun ready for him on the podium, because that's legal for someone of 18 years whereas alcohol isn't.

Going to guess they thought it wasn't a great idea with some of the recent terror attacks - (as it should be, TMS has done the same thing in past)

also don't think they wanna get Eddie mad either (as TMS has been doing it for eons now)

21st century started on January 1st, 2001 so Herta was still born in 20th century ;)
