Herta will leave Harding but will remain at an Andretti-affiliated team...somehow.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

either a 5th car (or) a partnership with another Honda team (Meyer Shank rumored to link up with them or Rahal)

Pocono trying to put a rotation plan together with ISC & IndyCar that will see the date go between Richmond Raceway, Pocono & Watkins Glen International. 2 of those within the same market. IndyCar is curious about the idea, but fears that momentum for the 2 to 3 markets (Pocono & Watkins Glen share a bulk of the same market) would be hurt by it

I'm not just saying this as a fan in the Richmond market, but that is a shit idea. Like they said, you can't build momentum that way. Especially if you are rotating between THREE tracks.

Some information/guesswork from the Mailbag;

-Pocono will almost certainly not be back.
-Hinch will probably get the 3rd RLL car.
-Kimball has a new sponsor and is trying to tie down a full-time drive for next year.
-O'Ward is focused on attaining a Superlicense and until\unless that fails he won't be back.
-Burke Lakefront Airport is facing closure and redevelopment.

Being 4 to 5 hours south and the closest race being 7 and the rest over 9 - I got the same thoughts

Pocono & WGI doing a Hockenheim / Nurburgring rotation would be smart tho. If there needs to be 3 then try to get Loudon

I wish iRacing would scan the place

Only thing Cleveland needed is a sponsor and promoter

If the property does get sold, why not copy the track layout at another airport in a major market - easier said than done of course tho

God Cleveland was such a fun race to attend. It was like a combo of being at an oval and a road course thanks to the way you could see practically all the track and the speeds were super high.

Herta to be brought in-house.

https://racer.com/2019/08/23/andretti-c ... ime-entry/

A technical partnership (either with Harding or someone else) remains likely, as does an extra Andretti car for Indianapolis.

Adam Stern reporting the schedule for 2020 will be released at the end of the week, unless something changes it appears Richmond will be added, and Pocono will not return

another schedule update - Richmond basically confirmed now with a presser slated for Tuesday

MP podcast rumors on the schedule:
doesn't think Pocono will be on the 2020 calendar
does think Richmond will return in 2020
CoTA might clash with the 12 Hours of Sebring

Aeroscreen update
https://racer.com/2019/08/28/indycar-te ... irst-test/

Norris MacDonald of Wheels.ca had some rumors on where Hinch might do if he doesn't return to Schmidt. Pappone thinks Andretti, while Norris has a gut feeling of Hinch starting a team
https://www.wheels.ca/news/racing-round ... s-himself/

Another tidbit from Marshall's podcast - Ganassi wanting to do a tech partnership deal with a team - mainly to fill the void of Ford leaving the sports car effort
