They showed plenty of replays of Justin's crash three years ago. I don't think there's any taboo around it.

Somewhere Paul Page is cringing at this. (At the idea of replays)

Did you hear his Dinner with Racers episode too?

There hasn't been a racing death he feels has been handled well, but yeah, Wheldon's pissed him off the most, and he wasn't even involved by then.

That is exactly what I was thinking of.

Isn't this track in the middle of nowhere?

Presumably they'd be using the helicopter regardless.

Indycar radio saying it's going to take at least an hour to get that fence repaired.

With the questionable weather in this area today I have my doubts they’ll be a restart at all today.

Well, I'm not sure and don't want to make chaos or anything like that, but I was watching live replay of that with 0.25 speed on yt and I'm just hoping that front wheel doesn't hit him...

If that wheel stayed clear of his head, I think everything else did as well. I imagine he could have some leg and maybe back injuries but I really think his head was spared from direct impact.

Don't know how reputable a journalist Jim Ayello is, but he has said that someone with 'knowledge of situation' has told him that Wickens is alert.

As PT said, all these gains they've made in safety but the catchfencing is just the same.

If there's only one helicopter then aside from the fence they will need to wait for it to get back as well.

Might as well go and do something else for a while.
