last I checked they were calling for 80% chance of thunderstorms on Saturday and 70% of rain on Sunday (on weather.com anyways)

I really hope it doesn't rain, not just because I don't want to see it get postponed but also because that area has seen a crap ton of rain lately. Some areas has had some flooding a couple hours north of there too (Twin Tiers region around the NY / PA state line / I-81)

That forecast changed from yesterday. Yesterday had Sunday looking good. Today it looks like we'll be racing Monday. Really want to get this show in on Sunday. I have Monday off just in case, but I don't want to have to go get my parents upstate, drive to PA, get rained out, drive back upstate, then drive back to CT Sunday night to grab my car to go back to PA Monday.

Oh well, just have to play it by ear and see what happens.

Poco-oh-hell-yeah-baby!!! :metal:

Wait...only 22 cars? :o

Three turns, 30 cars. That should be how to do it.

Will Power on pole at 219.511, Dixon starts 13th. Dixon's car looked evil in turn 1 on his qualifying run, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of car he has in race trim.

We're leaving at 10AM. I have two tickets available. I know it's short notice. Mom & Dad didn't want to deal with a sketchy forecast. Top row of the Grandstand, I think section 230. PM me a phone number and we can meet at the track. I can check the forum on my phone and we can meet at the track.

EDIT: NOW HAVE 1 TICKET AVAILABLE.

Hmmm...these 2018 cars were very sketchy at Indy in similar weather. Might make this race rather interesting.

Much cooler than Indy. It was 34C then and is about 20C today. Should be much better for grip.

The fact that it's overcast will also do plenty to stop the track warming up relative to the air.
