And what would Bourdais have done if RHR or someone else was in the pit exit?

Rule is there for a reason.

I can't think of any other tracks where the pit exit is out of bounds for racing

Huh? How come Dixon is allowed to make that stop and Bourdais isn't?

Because they shouldn't have

I don't think there's any other top-line track which has the racing line and the pit exit line converge like that in a braking zone.

Korea sort of did before they modified it. And Monaco spits you out worryingly close to the middle of the road, I think they have a big flashing arrow for drivers on track to let them know someone's exiting but there's no rules about it.

I know what you mean, but I think it should be in the hands of the drivers not to go barrelling into the back of cars on pit exit, if only so we get to see moves like Bourdais'

Korea's still a racetrack? I thought that had been turned back into a swamp by now. ¬_¬

I take your point on Monaco, but they have tried to split the pit lane and the track as far as possible. I think if something were to happen there then the same rule would be introduced as a result.

I don't think you can trust the drivers to always take the most sensible course of action in these situations. 99% of the time, sure, but that 1% has gotten drivers killed in the not-too-distant past. So I understand their caution.

Bourdais has been Kinged. Unfortunately he's not playing draughts.

I do like the nosecam but they either need to do something about the wiring or accept that if the car carrying it has misfortune then it's gone for the day. Takes far too long to replace the bloody thing.

What a race for Bourdais. He was probably the only one who could've challenged Rossi today. That move he got penalized for is damn insane.
