It was either Twitter or Atlas, can't remember which.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Mid Ohio just plain always delivers nothing for me. I don't get the appeal.

Me neither, although it was a bit better in the 90s.

I think it's a typical example of those tracks that are technically challenging and probably fun to track-day on, but just aren't cut to provide visually appealing racing.

The racing was great around the first pit stop, but then Dixon's troubles split up the field too much to make it more interesting, not to mention Gutierrez...

It's never been a great track for TV viewing (as the track is more narrow and technical, meaning less passing).
I understand viewing the race in person there though is pretty fun.

It's a fantastic driving-challenge layout, with brutal elevation changes and tricky turns. It looks pretty, too. The racing itself usually isn't great, but it's one of those tracks where I enjoy the cars going around it enough that the race doesn't have to be a barnburner for me to enjoy it. Plus it does lend itself to some exciting moments, they just can get spaced out, and you usually get few yellows so it's a more predictable race. And it is great to attend in person, no doubt. I went in 2003 and sat in turn 4 and had a blast.

Like, the only legit cool turn is T1. Otherwise, it's just way too slow and technical. It's a track for Miatas and little else at this point, IMO.

Turns 4 and 5 are awesome as hell. I love how hard braking turn 4 is, yet it's also fast and has some good banking, then turn 5 lets people fight back if they're side by side. I also love how light the cars get in turn 9 with that crest right in the middle of the corner.
