Didn't know Denmark was a hotbed of lactose intolerance, but there you go.

I bet a few more don't want whole, but a combination of the factors of

1.Social pressure by the bulldog types that'll call them namby-pamby for not having full fat milk (probably those that look as big as a cow themselves)

2.Not much of it is gonna go in their mouths anyway bar an initial sip

3. Ehhh fuck it, if they win the race they're gonna be hung over to all hell on Monday anyway so probably won't even notice the lactose intolerance on top of all the beers....

At least Schumacher had the decency to just add water to his museli if his dietician didn't allow whole or semi-skimmed.

------------------

For some reason, SPAM did not arrange and have not yet requested for TK to do his refresher, and so if the 500 is delayed (weather forecast for Sunday does not look good), and Mr. H tells Larson to get to Charlotte, the only driver that would definitely be allowed to replace him is Nolan Siegel. Jack Harvey might be allowed to replace him, but it is unclear if he needs to have done a refresher (he did the Iowa races last year but not Gateway).

Should humans even drink milk at all once they reach adulthood? Do any other mammals do that?

It's certainly not the first drink I'd want to down after 3 hours of hot, sweaty and intense racing when I'm full of adrenaline and slightly dizzy from turning exclusively left for 500 laps, no.....

Do they keep it in a fridge during the race, even?

It is but it must be efeminate or something, based on the insinuation.

500 miles... 500 Laps at Indy would be a hell of an achievement and test of endurance.

It also says kept on ice right in the X post.

I personally prefer my milk in ice cream form. My wife does like a glass of milk though.

Being a fitness lunatic I could discuss this for hours, but to save some time, here's a simple explanation...

Quote:
Is the consumption of cow's milk essential for proper health? The bottom line is no, dairy products are not a nutritional requirement for humans. We can get all of the nutrients for optimal health from a high-quality diet that limits or contains no dairy.

In summary, any child (like me, born in the early 90's) who was raised in the 20th century was told not drinking milk would cause our bones to turn to dust, but it was just effective lobbying from the dairy/farming industry.

Excellent video of Kursgesagt on this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oakWgLqCwUc

I personally think the question behind it isn't whether we should drink milk, it's whether we should:
- Torture animals on a large scale to obtain it?
- Have as much cattle to begin with (a major source of greenhouse gases and often a waste of space/resources)?

And the rational answer to both is "fuck no". Once we solve those two issues, whatever milk production still remains is up for our taking, and even essential for many people (i.e. not urban dwellers like us).

Wait, wrong topic, and I have some catch-up to do:

- gg Nolan and VK
- Go Kyle Larson
- Fuck Penske

This race never disappoints, there is always some crazy storyline in the background. I used to only care about the Sunday race, but that's missing more than half the fun

UK viewers (or those with access to a VPN) will be able to watch the race live on YouTube.

The VPN Cyber Ghost seems to offer a 24 hour free trial for Windows users:

Curious... Do you guys eat cereal at all? If so, what do you pour in it, or do you eat it dry?

Personally I like to put malt whiskey in my cheerios, but that's just me.

cheese and ice cream is too damn important to revoke my dairy rights. Will only stop if a doctor says it'll kill me

plus the carbon footprint of an even receiving up to 400 thousand guests is more worrying than with cow juice

The reason for the youtube stream is a too tight schedule with F1 in Monaco. Doubt they would stream on YouTube on the Monday

Considering the positive attention they have been getting, I doubt they would bait-and-switch like that. The race is still being broadcast in full on the Sky F1 TV channel (coverage starts there at 5:30pm, which is immediately before the green flag is scheduled).
