Not keen on that at all as the whole championship situation & points for fast lap thing was just stupid IMO.

I think it was exotic but fun anyway...how many times did we have a championship being decided on a crash for example in Formula One? Getting a championship decided on a best lap rule makes it fun!

I actually liked it, It was something different.

One of those epic unique circumstances that a championship finale can only develop
(though saying that, there has been a couple of NASCAR races that have featured a championship contender wrecking early then repairing and coming back out to profit. I def remember a BUSCH championship that worked out that way. Was it Biffle's or Kyle Buschs year before they made cup? :? )

Say what you like about Formula E, It's never dull!

The save battersea park idiot is tweeting pictures of the podium and saying that's the entire crowd

This is why we can't have nice things, any time fun and enjoyment breaks out, there's always annoyed people around desperate to stamp on others excitement.

Thanks for your contribution

We'll make sure to let you know when Formula E stops being unique and is exactly the same as every other series out there! :whistling:

I don't like this kind of thing "he you can change your car and keep going"

anyway they should race more in racetracks, even if it's something short like the shortcourse of Hockenheim or Bugatti

Nah, Bugatti would suck.

Street courses are good for this series. Not out of the way tracks.

The right guy won the title I think.

Buemi did have the faster car all year and we'll never know if di Grassi crashed into him on purpose.

Yeah they need to stick with this idea of street courses in big cities.

= More spectators.

The chicanes are so that the cars can harvest more energy from braking. They will slowly be removed as the technology improves - some already went this year.

And why would you want to make it wider? Sure, Battersea is probably a little bit too narrow but most of the rest of the circuits are just right. A tremendous improvement on the seas of tarmac with lines chalked on them that masquerade as Formula 1 tracks.

The whole street circuit principle is also what will remain the series' USP long after electric\hybrid cars become normal.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

the proper racing line must be wider, but the walls must stay there for crashes of course, I just want a bit of incentive to go faster

I don't necessarily mind the street circuits but it would be nice to see them eventually use some proper tracks.

In terms of the future of a race in the UK, If London don't want them then they should look at coming up to Birmingham. Or just run at Donington, They do most (If not all) of there testing there so why not run a race there. Surely better than potentially having no race in the UK at all.

They can't really go much faster at the moment. If you stuck them on a normal track they would look very slow.

There's a nice motorsport festival in Coventry that will be a perfect home for them

And sooner or later Motorsport fans will realise Formula E isn't targeted at long standing motorsport fans.
It races in the cities where people are, not expecting them to trapse to the traditional motorsport circuits in the middle of nowhere, it uses social media marketing strategies to also appear where the majority of people want to spend their time, ie on their phone or laptop/tablet, leading to things like Fan Boost (much to racing fans chagrin) and is generally a forward thinking strategy trying to break new ground and not just repeat the same old Motorsport tropes in a new package

ANDDDDD it appears to be working :)
