That was a really good race, comers & goers, incidents and plenty of overtaking. Not sure what the point of the first chicane is though.

So the stewards can keep busy with track limits penalties?

I'm not sure either, wasn't it not there in the first track layout, then put in relitively recently when they were worried about the brake issues in testing?

Doesn't feel like it achieved anything, they were still almost flat out and it just gave people a place to run wide.

Decent race, though think they got lucky as the track doesn't really lend itself to good racing, especially as the hairpin was really the only overtaking spot. Much better have Chandhok on the commentary, hope that wasn't a one off for India
