Tordoff won't be racing for an absolutely heartbreaking reason. http://www.btcc.net/2019/09/09/sam-tord ... -09-09-19/ |

As a parent to a toddler with another one on the way, that's about the worst thing I can think of. My thoughts are with Sam and his wife. |

He must've thought things were looking up for him too, with his recent win at Thruxton and a baby on the way Goddamn man, really puts it all in to perspective. So horrid to hear |

This is a bit OT, but the worst thing about that situation is the trauma lasts a lot longer than people think, particularly if you plan on having more kids. We lost a pregnancy at 16 weeks last year and even that took a lot longer for us to work through than we anticipated. A lot of marriages split up as a result. But otherwise you carry the absence with you, being aware of birthdays and other milestones you would be celebrating as they come without actually talking about them. I hope Sam and his wife have the same sort of support around them as we had for as long as they need it. |

Understandably Tordoff isn't returning any time soon. https://www.touringcartimes.com/2019/09 ... 19-season/ Hamilton's out of money due to a lost sponsor and won't compete at Silverstone or Brands https://www.touringcartimes.com/2019/09 ... nds-hatch/ |

TBF they're one of the few teams to stick by the series through thick and thin, so it wouldn't be the same without them I do really miss Gordon "James Thompson" Shedden though.... |

So Goodyear is replacing Dunlop. Thruxton will be even more of a puncture fest then it used to be. https://www.touringcartimes.com/2019/10 ... -supplier/ |
