Have to feel that the Fords will be strong at Donington. Not sure about the Chevvy though. Plato will probably punt someone off at the Craner Curves

The chicane is now about halfway between Coppice and Redgate instead of being 2\3rds of the way down.

Should make Redgate a better overtaking place.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Yeah but that's gonna make the GP track with the Melbourne loop (if it still exists?) a load of shit because as soon as you exit Coppice you're going to be pretty much on the chicane, ruining the small chance of getting a run on someone out of Coppice.

My dad has offered to take me to the meeting but I'm in two mind.
YES the track is back together, but what state the facilities?
I'm tired of being knee deep in piss at the toilets there...
I'm assuming the banking at Old Hairpin hasn't returned so maybe I'll have more competition on my regular outside banking...
Grrr decisions!

Well you wouldn't have got number 1 spot. Mr Gilette was so dedicated to getting that he forgot to build the circuit in real life. Still, number one simulator time though, at least he achieved something!

Indeed, when I saw his name at the top I thought 'Hmmm, how long did you spend here?' :p

Well, no. For one, the GP circuit chicane hasn't moved. The other thing is the National circuit chicane has only moved 85 metres. It's still just about after the GP chicane. So it'll make no difference

Turns out Swanwick has been banned for the rest of the year 8O

I thought it would just be for Knockhill.

Had to lol at Tom Ferrier's comment, though - "We hope this doesn't damage his reputation"

Wow, 3 race meetings. Thats pretty tough. Don't think I've seen a ban like that for driving standards since Maldanaldo played Carmageddon with the Monaco marshals a few years back.

Well Swanwick had better calm it down a bit if he's back racing next year, and re-build his reputation.

I'm glad he got that penalty. His driving was a disgrace.

What happened? I haven't seen any of last weekend's racing as I was away.

It was at Silverstone. He basically caused that huge Junior crash and before that constantly drove other cars off the track. It was idiotic

There were occasions at Knockhill where the same thing was happening (I think Hill was just driving Richardson into the pitwall at one point as if she wasn't even there) but I guess nothing was said. The driving standards in the lower formulas have become pretty shocking. I have no doubt about the talent of some of the young drivers but swerving like an idiot and forcing cars off the road has almost become accepted when defending your position.

Well Hill did move across but he still allowed Richardson plenty of room.

I'm sure there was a moment where he moved across and actually hit another car, and then carried on moving across :p

I don't remember him hitting Richardson. I think he did hit Ingram and slowed a bit letting him past.

Neither were near as blatant as what Swanwick or even Schummy did.

Having watched a video from a bike trackday at Donny, looks like the new chicane is opposite Foggy's Esses (chicane to GP loop)
