Not sure the TV coverage did justice to how serious the Porsche crash could have been, tyres were sent flying into the marshals post and it looked like the marshals post was partially knocked down. The marshals spent the rest of the day much further back from the barrier.

Well done to Ingram, Hill had the faster car all day but Ingram's consistency and Sutton's defensive driving sealed it for Ingram.

Yeah, I don't know how Jade was found at fault for that. You can see the car behind Crees taking a tighter line than he is (and that car didn't even have anyone alongside him) while Crees' distance to the inside edge increases.

Jade was at fault because it’s Jade, say what you will about how “progressive” the sport is but there are still bigoted dickheads in race control who would rather pin it on her than chalk it up to a racing deal or say the guy was at fault. It looks a little like she could have given a bit more room, but to quote our favourite race director, “it’s a motor race Toto” not a neat driving demonstration and she was being overtaken knot doing the overtaking so it’s not her job to get out the way and facilitate the other cars pass for them.

I'd imagine, like everyone else in the paddock, broadcast truck and crowd, it seems, that the stewards, marshals and race director were also looking at the title contenders coming across the line and weren't paying attention to the crash

"Shall we investigate that incident?"

"Nah, it's the end of the season and I want to go home, slap the penalty on the one the right way up and lets do one"
