Watch him not get penalised...

I'm running out of ways of phrasing that the BTCC is consistently good racing.

But not only is that true, today we had inclement weather

Some of the tast-est racing all season. Brilliant.

Brilliant race. Amazing to see Goff win in that ancient VW for Team HARD, and a podium for the Infiniti

The first Porsche race & third touring car race were quite tricky to follow from trackside. I'm disappointed at how everyone applauded Gamble's wins. He shouldn't be out there, he's as bad as Dan Ticktum. Doesn't really matter though, as Porsche's championship format makes even less sense than NASCAR's, so I don't really give a toss about the results.

The second BTCC race was stopped for no other reason than wimp culture nanny state bullshit.

The Clios & Juniors provided the best racing of the day, as is usually the case.

Yeah, as I said at the time it was stupid to red flag it AFTER they were through the most dangerous time, (the cold tyres on the restart, at the red they'd built up some tyre temps) and, sods law, the second they did it stopped raining so it would've been fine

Everyone's wise in hindsight I guess

I legit have a habit of falling asleep during the Porsche races now only to be woken by engines firing for BTCC race 3, it's a nice hour or so of snoozing because their races run longer

But after a day like that it's hard to complain (Except about Plato, who makes it very very easy :D )
4 wide in the Clios is hard to top, great that they get to go out on a bang.
All we need is a few more for the traditional Brands Hatch season finale destruction derby. Who knows, we could have one more bang before they go ;)
