Not again, but probably because of the earlier contact though.

Good save there and he got it to the line

3 different winners from the first three winners shows you what a terrible, competitive series this is :whistling:

Great racing all day, can't wait for more!

Great job by Rory Butcher. Well deserved result after improving over the course of last year. Really pleased for Jelley too after the mess at Knockhill

Neal's complaining about Chilton's move on him. Hypocrite.

To be fair, while there was nothing wrong with Chilton’s pass and Neal’s moan is pathetic, anytime someone moans about Chilton they get automatic clemency from me.

Plato's complaining about the jump start penalty. Twat.

https://www.autosport.com/btcc/news/142 ... er-penalty

When 29 other drivers don't have a problem, maybe the "grown up conversation" needs to be between yourself and your reflection in the mirror about if you're 5 years past your prime... :whistling:

What he’s saying is not wrong though.

I don't like either of them but I'll take Chilton over Neal any day. Not an ounce of class with that family.

Any time Plato says anything makes it automatically wrong for me

And again, no-one else had a problem, and yet despite him saying he'd "take it on the chin" he decided to blame both the stewards and start line marshals and basically everyone but himself for lining up improperly.

Hopefully this'll be his final season.

Pffft, I am in my world :whistling:

Grumpyness after 3 great races is quite the achievement though, kudos

was able to find a stream before the reverse grid race, seemed pretty good

too bad BTCC & ToCA doesn't have a single ounce of care for the international fanbase, can't even watch highlight videos on Twitter because they are geo-blocked. Am I surprised? not at all.

Although at least they have a TV deal for the USA / Canada that features full highlights of the races here (unlike WTCR), even though they think it's still 1995 where a month & half delay is reasonable (before it became 1 year during the mid 2000's Speed era)

It's not the international fan base per se, it's just they have not a care for the non-tv fanbase, so unless you get ITV4, your ability to see anything BTCC is poor

I assume this is a quirk of the ITV contract they signed ages ago and ITV don't want much footage on Social Media or youtube

For all the good BTCC do, their social media presence is sorely lacking and it's one of the few championships getting left behind in that area

I think it's more than social media, if they cared about growing outside the UK - they should of worked with one of the game developers when they had the chance. iRacing about got everything that TOCA / Gow wanted in terms of having full series content (every track but for Knockhill either signed or already in the service (Brands, Donington, Oulton, Snetterton & old layout for Silverstone in the service, rescanned Silverstone in development, Croft & Thruxton signed, Rockingham UK also scanned), 3 separate attempts at getting a BTCC car with licensing deals signed with BMW, Ford & Honda) but ToCA & the teams still declined to work with them on getting the proper data & support needed.

They post barely enough on social media & YouTube to get fans interested, but it appears they only want it in the UK now with the geo-blocks (after previously having it opened up in previous years).
