This weekend's race format seems to have attracted universal praise. Let's have some more of these races in future please.

I missed this race to watch Hungaboring :cry: But judging by this thread it was a longer distance race with action from start to finish. BTCC truly is the unicorn of racing series.

Surprised Smiley didn't get any penalties for race 3, a lot of his defending was over the limit but guess they didn't penalise as he didn't actually take anyone out. Turns out it was Austin who spun out Oliphant to cause the big crash.

I'd love them to do it again, but like the legends SEAT race 15 or so years ago (what was that celebrating again? ) they like to keep the special races special just for anniversaries and won't do it regularly because they'd argue they'd become less special then

Saying that, if they did it again, I wish it'd be thruxton

They can't keep tyres on the cars on a normal distance race, imagine double the distance :lol:

That SEAT race was because they were replacing the model for their one make series. Shame they had that hissy fit so we wouldn't get the chance of another.
