There's no Jordan Cox in Improved Prod this year sadly, but the racing is still good.

Well, this was the right weekend to suddenly have a dump of snow appear across the UK

"Why sir, you have nothing to do for the next 4 days, would you like some Supercars (and Formula E too) to watch"
"Why yes, yes I would, thank you!"

They should scrap the kerb hopping bollocks in the Senna chicane, it's so much fun seeing them straightline it as much as possible.

How do you spin in T8 and not hit any thing?

Post subject:  Re: 2018 VASC Adelaide 500 (March 1-4)

2018 is the year of the spinning cars at some of australia's most dangerous corners that end up somehow not being massive accidents due to sheer luck

Water's crashed at T8

That was a hard hit on the right side.

Blanchard just lost a wheel. Thankfully it rolled itself into the pits.

I think it's a good thing they have such bouncy suspension and make so much tire noise otherwise with that few vehicles they wouldn't have anything going for them.

Yikes, Whincup crashes hard at turn 8 in the qualifying session. He's OK but looks a bit shaken.

The back end stepped out as he turned into the corner. There's big damage to the left hand side of the car, that'll be a lot of work for T888.

SVG did get pole though so it's not completely terrible for them.

And another one in at turn 8, this time it's Tom Randle after some sort of mechanical failure (power steering)?

Post subject:  Re: 2018 VASC Adelaide 500 (March 1-4)

That was a typically good Super2 race.

I think Rullo will silence his critics fairly quickly this year going by that performance. He qualified 4th, got sent to the back of the grid along with Dean Fiore (his teammate) thanks to a parc ferme infringement and cleanly made up 12 places to finish 11th, two places ahead of the vastly more experienced Fiore.
