Hitting the bank might have been a better option actually, he might have gone up it and rolled onto its roof, but it would've been a less harsh impact than the barrier gave him

Plenty other people happy with it, if he doesn't like it find another job.

Should think himself lucky, last time I was at Thruxton there was nothing there but trees lining the track from the complex back to the chicane.

I do agree with this, seems strange they'd make the runoff smaller than before and not line the barrier with tyres.
