It could happen, if they raced at Valencia or somewhere like that....

They'd even manage to save that place and it's the worst international track in history.

I tell you what, regarding the European open-wheel minor leagues, why can't we just go back to having Formula 2 and Formula 3. With Formula Ford below that or something. It makes a lot of sense.

Palmer has been given the green light to make changes at Brands. Grumble.

They're doing it at the end of 2012

Depends how long it takes to construct a 10ft bronze bust of Palmer's ego ;)

Two weeks to go and STR have still not got any deals confirmed for the 2012 season. :(

I was thinking a little earlier, that the media day is fast approaching yet we've not not yet seen anything of the 888 MGs or the Eurotech Civics.

The Eurotech cars should be shown tomorrow and MG have said that they are pretty confident that they will be out for Media Day.

Mark Hazell looks like he will be a RAR Audi driver for this year.

No they were always planning on building an NGTC Civic.

Great news about Hazell, another name from the past. Is he the sole Audi driver or is he teaming up with Rob Austin for a 2 car effort?

Not really a name from the past, he's raced in the support series as recently as 2010. He'll be on about the same level as Jeff Smith, judging by his results in Porsches and Clios.

Chris James has crashed:

I hadn't noticed Hazell in the Clios because it is not something I've followed. I saw him as a name from the past because of this:

1999 - MGF Cup finishing 6th overall
1997 - Vectra Sri V6 Challenge in support of BTCC

I'm sure he did some Rover GTi racing as well.

According to this week's autosport magazine, this is actually a Team Dynamics built Civic.

Too true - Hazell is a name I recall from all those production class saloon series back in the day.

He's also worth quite a bit of money, so thats RAR getting some good investment.

Jeff Smith's base scheme too:

I love those blue Pirtek Civics. Much prefer them to the Dynamics white and red.
