Race was a lot more processional than I expected....

But a very satisfying race, result wise.
So happy for both Andrew Jordan and for the BTCC to have another new champion on the grid so it doesn't have to keep marketing the old guys....

Great days racing :)

Amazing that they beat the proper works teams. A deserving champion!

Means that we will have at least 5 champions on the 2014 grid

Undoubtedly the best racing in 2013 was the BTCC. Both championship wise and on track action wise!

And now it's over for another year *sigh*

Come on 2014, come soon with your grids of 60 cars and more great racing! :)

Well, 32 cars next year then.

Is he the youngest champion?

And he's from Sutton Coldfield! Didn't realise, just down the road from me....

If he got trains, I'd probably see him on it.

But he doesn't get trains.

He drives.

Drives like a CHAMPION!

Pathetic uncompetitive #BTCC season ends with Jordan winning it all

I have been a viewer of BTCC for quite a few years now. Unfortunately the series has been going downhill because of the domination of Honda. It was pretty much a certainty that a Honda was going to win this year because no other mark was at all competitive.

The good news is that neither of the terrible two-some Neal and Flash won the championship. The driving thugs this year has been nothing short of pathetic. Every meeting one of the two has driven someone off the track in order to win the race or get position. The sad thing about it is that the BTCC seems completely cowardly when it comes to cracking down on bad driving.

One has to wonder if it will take a major injury or a death before they do something about the aggressive driving from Yuasa racing duo. As far as anyone else can tell there is one rule for that team and another for everyone else. It is possible that BTCC is so desperate to keep that team in the series that they will do anything to make sure they do. There is huge difference between rubbin & tapping other cars, and deliberately wrecking another car for position. Neal & Flash don’t seem to know the difference. It was literally a matter of times before these two thugs with cars would wreck someone every race meeting.

BTCC is lagging behind World Touring Car, DTM and V8 Supercars when it comes to competitive touring car racing. It used to be a series that was fun to watch and close. Now it is just dominated by Honda while everyone else an afterthought. There needs to be serious changes in the series to complete with the better racing series in the world. Why would you bother if you know the outcome? We knew a Honda would win the championship, just a question of which one.

The more preferable of the Honda drivers won and well done to him. But the series is dying and needs some help. We shall see if BTCC pulls its finger out and sorts the series out.

I mean I saw the headline on Twitter, it was obviously click bait, I clicked it and got angry.....

As a social media campaign it's pretty good, it just couldn't be more wrong with its opinions :p

As to who he is found a clue on his website lol
