I have to say I'm surprised that Smith's left Motorbase, it just raises more questions about their lineup.

Want some better news? Autosport reports that 'at least 6 champions for BTCC 2014'. Looks like Turks is confirmed at WSR and there is now a real possibility of Gio being at Motorbase. I'm sorry but who said the BTCC isn't a professional championship anymore?

As a side note, that's 28 cars confirmed so far with Speedworks to announce plans and a couple of others to announce plans too. WSR and Motorbase are still to announce their plans.
