Waters, Holdsworth, Mostert, SVG, Stanaway, Davison, Percat, Courtney, B. Kostecki and Brown were the ones who qualified for the top 10 shootout tommorow, presuming that actually goes ahead with the worst of the weather predicted for this weekend expected to occur tomorrow. Van Gisbergen may not be in the shootout even if it does occur as he could be getting penalised for turning M. Jones into the wall going into the dipper

Weather has me worried and I can see them red flagging it if it's a little heavier than today. If it goes ahead though it'll be great viewing.

It's pretty wet now, three cars have crashed in practice 5 including Broc Feeney.

There seems to be bigger gaps between support series this year with a lot of filler from the TV broadcast, are we down on support series?

I mean, considering the conditions and the amount of accidents it's probably been a wise choice, but they weren't to know that at the time

This year is basically the same schedule as it was pre-Covid, last year had more categories then usual because Covid meant TCR/Transam/S5000 couldn't have their own event at Bathurst and it started two days earlier to get through everybody.

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of then, I just need more motivation to keep me awake and it feels like it's all fillers and practice sessions atm lol

There was a bit of a Heritage race just then, half of it under SC, pretty sure they threw the chequered flag early too....

So nothing on track now for an hour until another practice session huh??

Ok, time for a micro sleep....

See you on Monday morning...probably... :o

It actually wasn't that bad, it only went over after he slid into another car having already wiped most of its speed off.
