First race wasn't terrible. It was pretty subdued but there were a few battles throughout and it got a bit wild in the last few laps.

This stands out as one of the most utterly retarded decisions I've ever seen in motorsport. Brakes are the last thing you should be attempting to save money on.

hopefully someone has a massive crash because of brake fade, so V8 Supercars can go into damage control and defend their stupidity
