Well those two just shove their way past anyway, so it makes no sense to defend in the first place. You are basically defenseless whilst defending :p

Watched the '95 review last night, back when they used to go all the way there.

The used the Island circuit as well that year, when they visited Oulton twice.

“My Cruze will be 70 kilos lighter than Matt Neal’s car in qualifying, so it will be interesting to see how things pan out on the weekend.”

70Kg? Bloody hell.

How quick will they be to reverse the changes if Plato is on pole by a second?

70kg difference. So how much of that is difference in success ballast and how much due to equalisation?

45kg is the ballast isn't it? Because only the top 3 in the championship get ballast IIRC and Plato is down a bit.

Also Pinkney or Austin this weekend?

Thanks  I'll have to refresh my memory on the rules because I thought success ballast was applied based on the previous race, which would have meant Plato would carry some ballast for winning.

Ballast for practice, qualifying & the first race is set by championship positions (top 5).

Part of me wants a rollcage damaging crash in race one for Plato to put him out for the day.

Just not this

Although leading up to the crash is possibly the best ITV commentary ever.

"Wow, woo, wee, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH NO"

Yes, agreed. If he makes a mistake that causes his demise then he should be the only one affected.

But then again, I'm supposed to be supporting JP so I shouldn't be wishing for his demise. Maybe Matt Neal should have a weekend ending problem, therefore the likes of Nash, Jordan and Jackson can close the gap at the top.
