The CVR situation, according to Alan Gow:

CVR and Cartridge World have parted company, in the last couple of days.

However, a great deal of effort is currently being made (by both drivers) to run those cars for the remainder of the season - by a different entrant/team....although this may not happen in time for Silverstone, as it's so soon.

Ugh, the BTCC's car count has been dropping like a stone since mid-season. :(

Dropping like a stone? I think thats exaggerating a bit, we started the season with 21 cars, and for this meeting all well and good, we should have either 19 or 20. When Jackson and Nash arrived, Leason and McMillan went, Nash, Bell and Morrison were absent at Knockhill, but according to the main site, should all be back, and with Reid joining as well and the likelihood of Matt Hamilton and Jason Hughes joining from Rockingham, its not all doom and gloom!!

Since Thruxton, the BTCC has gained 2 extra cars and lost four/five if you include Morrison (who has been gone for three rounds now, is he actually coming back?). So ok, maybe not quite dropping like a stone, admittedly I did forgot about Bell and Nash returning.

However, Hamilton is joining next season as far as I know, and we've had 'Jason Hughes will be racing this weekend' at just about every round this season. Like Gaara, I'll believe it when I see it.

I give up, I'm just trying to inject some positivity and get shot down for it.

You were hardly shot down, Gaara just said he didn't think Jason Hughes would turn up and I said I might have exaggerated a bit.

I admit I exaggerated a bit there too :p , but with TOC back thats a field of 20 cars. Not bad at all in my opinion!

Yeah the times are really close. I'm really pleased that the Focus is finally on the pace of the front runners. Meanwhile the Vauxhall's seem to be going backwards. I pressume with Vauxhall pulling out at the end of the year they aren't developing the car anymore.

Whooo Plato not on poll for once...

Mind you having him behind drivers on the first lap is usually where the trouble starts :p

A shame for Herbert, he had a steering problem in qualy and didn't complete a proper run, so his time isn't really representative.

All eyes will be on him tomorrow, his livery is pretty sweet too :)

So Matt Neal and Anthony Reid are starting side by side. That could make for an interesting first corner.

G50 grid up to 20 for this race? Awesome. And 0.1 between the top 2. Sounds like a good race! No Dick though :p

The Porsche race seemed pretty decent too. Sutton only led the last lap.
